Description

‘Ukishima’ is steamed type of Wagashi (Mushi-gashi). On the first glance it looks like European Sponge Cake, however it’s fully made by bean paste. Ukishima is a mixture between European technology of making Sponge cake and Japanese traditional ingredient – bean paste. It has fluffy texture and the taste of bean paste is completely unnoticable.

‘Yuzu-ukishima’ has a fresh taste of citrus which suits the hot weather of Summer very well.
